StempleCrites attending the ASA International Conference in October

StempleCrites will be in Anaheim, CA October 7 – 12th, 2018 attending the American Society of Appraisers (ASA) International Conference.  The ASA is an international organization devoted to the advancement of the appraisal profession.

“The ASA designation, the continuous training, and interaction with other valuation specialists are must haves to stay competitive and underpin the work we do for clients.”
Mark Crites, President at StempleCrites

The ASA conference provides insight on hot topics in the appraisal community combined with unparalleled opportunity to connect with fellow appraisers.”  Jennifer Krieger, Manager at Weaver and Tidwell

“ASA has always offered high quality, relevant education.  I am happy that Evan Ottaviano, a manager in our valuation practice, will be able to attend this year’s conference”. Gina Miller, Partner at Bennett Thrasher

The conference features sessions and social events that will provide attendees the opportunity to expand their global professional network and connect with exhibitors and contemporaries that specialize in Business Valuation, Machinery & Technical Specialties, Personal Property, Real Property and Appraisal Review & Management.

The Accredited Senior Appraiser (also ASA) designation, which both Mark and Jeff hold, signifies that an appraiser has completed the four industry-specific exams, accrued over five years of dedicated valuation experience, and passed the ASA ethics exam.  Additionally, to retain this credential the appraiser must pass the Uniform Standards of Professional Appraisal Practice exam every five years and compile at least 100 hours of continuing education over that same five year period.
